Depression

 Depression is a mental health condition that can vary between mild to severe symptoms. It last for a minimum of two weeks and is marked by:

  • Low energy

  • Loss of interest in activities,

  • Feelings of worthlessness and hopelessness

  • Difficulty concentrating.

 It can also manifest itself through physical symptoms such as:

  • Fatigue

  • Digestive problems

  • Increased pain sensitivity

  • Changes in sleep patterns

 Those affected may feel distant from friends and family members or be unable to take care of themselves properly on a daily basis due to persistent sadness or apathy towards life activities.

Other signs common symptoms of depression include:

  • Withdrawing from social situations

  •  Difficulty making decisions due to lack of motivation or focus

  • Irritability over things that usually wouldn’t affect you
