FAQs

  • In order for therapy to be effective it is important that you feel comfortable working with me and see the possibility of a strong therputic alliance. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation for you to ask questions and get an inital impression of my therapeutic approach. During our first session I encourage you to ask questions so you can further assess if I am the right fit for you. After our first session, I will check in on how you are feeling about working together and if you would like to continue meeting. If you decide not to work with me after meeting, I will offer you referrals to other resources and clinicians to support you on your journey.

Therapy is very personal, and the duration of it can vary greatly. Together we will address the projected time frame of treatment for your unique needs.

  • I require at least 24 hours’ notice in advance of your scheduled session in order to cancel or reschedule. If an appointment is cancelled, missed, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged the full fee for the missed session, except in the event of an emergency.

I understand that life can be complicated, with this in mind I allow one ‘free’ pass if you miss a session without canceling prior to 24 hours.
